For some reason I find fantasy books much more believable than mainstream fiction. I mostly read fantasy and all sub-genres but if overwhelmed with curiosity I'll occasionally read a 'norm' book.


I am an author also but I am mostly on this site to connect as a reader.


Defy - Sara B. Larson 3.5 stars

Quite a bit better than the reviews made me fear it would be. I actually loved this book until the 'love' story took center dtage about halfway through; don't get me wrong, I love a good love story but this one seemed a little forced and just didn't stir anything up in me, if you know what I mean.
