anti-book-snob

For some reason I find fantasy books much more believable than mainstream fiction. I mostly read fantasy and all sub-genres but if overwhelmed with curiosity I'll occasionally read a 'norm' book.

I am an author also but I am mostly on this site to connect as a reader.

Frost Burned

Frost Burned - Patricia Briggs 3.5 stars

In a couple ways this book feels like Moon Called" and "Iron Kissed" Mercedes (as in: back to the goods) but in others... Not so much. I ALWAYS love PB's writing... It's just so... so... fantastic. There just wasn't that much mystery. Though the plot was good in many was it just felt disjointed like the beginning plot ended, then there was a short middle plot, then a longer ending plot - they connected (I guess)... but a bit tenuously. So, a bit of a mixed bag plot wise but always fantastically fresh narration and characters.
