anti-book-snob

For some reason I find fantasy books much more believable than mainstream fiction. I mostly read fantasy and all sub-genres but if overwhelmed with curiosity I'll occasionally read a 'norm' book.

I am an author also but I am mostly on this site to connect as a reader.

Winter's Passage (The Iron Fey, #1.5)

Winter's Passage (The Iron Fey, #1.5) - Julie Kagawa I'm not a big fan of novellas and this doesn't prove me wrong about them. It was just-- flat. No characterization, it just seemed like the missing last chapter of iron king or the missing first chapters of iron daughter... It didn't stand on it's own well.
But I'm really excited for Iron Daughter... I feel like the lenth is the fundamental flaw with this one.
