For some reason I find fantasy books much more believable than mainstream fiction. I mostly read fantasy and all sub-genres but if overwhelmed with curiosity I'll occasionally read a 'norm' book.

 

I am an author also but I am mostly on this site to connect as a reader.

Thicker Than Blood

Thicker Than Blood - Claire C. Riley, Madeline Sheehan I really like this book. For first time ever, I dnf'd a book for scaring me. I'm planning on finishing it but the part I stopped at was so scary and disturbing I kept feeling to freaked out to pick it up again. It kind of reminded me of a darker adult version of [b:Endless Knight|16175040|Endless Knight (The Arcana Chronicles, #2)|Kresley Cole|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1400456239s/16175040.jpg|22024655] in how evil the post-apocalyptic world-building was.
