anti-book-snob

For some reason I find fantasy books much more believable than mainstream fiction. I mostly read fantasy and all sub-genres but if overwhelmed with curiosity I'll occasionally read a 'norm' book.

I am an author also but I am mostly on this site to connect as a reader.

I have a lot of feelings!!!!

Well, a couple. While in the beginning when there were a few 'revelations' I definitely felt a) yay! wanting Juliette to end up with Warren isn't wrong anymore and b) this is all a little "convenient".

Then, I loved Kenji, like a lot.

Then when there was dramarama I felt like a) yay! I don't feel guilty for feeling that Adam is a db anymore and b)this is all a little "convenient".

Then, I loved Kenji some more.

Then, during the big show down, I felt like: what the frick? how is this book almost over?! they just decided to CONQUER THE WORLD?!!! But it was almost over, and though I really liked the ending, I could have done with, like, another book.

Did I mention how much I loved Kenji?

So anyway, the book was great, better written, a little less weighed down with embellishments and metaphors, yet a little "conveniently" smoothed over to everything I wanted for Juliette (can I really complain about that? I don't know).
